Amanda & Rikard’s Wedding – from Donsö to Knarrholmen

Being part of Amanda and Rikard’s big day as their wedding photographer was pure joy from beginning to end. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect – sunny, warm, and filled with that soft, golden light every photographer dreams of.

The day began on the charming island of Donsö, where the preparations were full of laughter, butterflies, and anticipation. Amanda got ready surrounded by her closest friends and family, and I quietly moved around with my camera, capturing everything from the small details to the big, emotional moments that told the story of their day. Rikard was calm, happy, and so present – the atmosphere was just right from the very start.

After a beautiful ceremony (and quite a few happy tears!), we took the boat over to Knarrholmen. It felt as if time stood still for a while – the sea, the nature, and the light created a magical setting for the evening. We took portraits among the rocks and pine trees, with the sunset as our backdrop. The images turned out both heartfelt and dreamlike – a perfect reflection of the two of them.

Dinner and the celebration were held in a stunning restaurant right by the water. Speeches, laughter, music, dancing – everything came together and created that warm, joyful feeling you never want to end.
