Romantic Destination Wedding in Florence – Wedding Photographer in Italy

There are weddings… and then there are wedding adventures.Being invited to join Erica and Lukas on their journey to Italy and capture their wedding in the hills outside Florence is something I’ll never forget. Just the three of us — and a whole lot of magic.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream. The soft Italian light, the scent of wild herbs in the air, the quiet of the mountains — everything about this place was breathtaking. Erica and Lukas had chosen an intimate, soulful setting surrounded by nature, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect.

The ceremony took place on a sun-drenched terrace overlooking the rolling hills. It was raw, emotional, and filled with so much love. I had the privilege of documenting every little detail — the way they looked at each other, the tears, the laughter, and all the stillness in between.

As the sun began to set, we made our way back into Florence for an evening session. Wandering through the golden-lit streets, we stopped for portraits as the sky turned pink and the city buzzed gently around us. The final shots, taken with the warm glow of the sunset reflecting off the old stone buildings, became some of my all-time favorites.

Erica and Lukas, thank you for trusting me with your story. Traveling with you, witnessing your love, and capturing it all in such a magical place was a true honor. I’ll carry this day with me for a long, long time.
